anyone know what the hell Kramer is referring to when he lights his cigar in the car and sez: "Maria, poquendo los scientos de estes con gleam!" and the girl laughs?
What the hell is that and why is it so funny?

Yeah...what does that mean? I tried to look it up on a language translator and couldn't find it.

In the script it says "in fake Spanish". But I don't speak Spanish, maybe someone who does can make something out of it.

no, trust me spanish is my mothertongue and he is saying basically nothing concrete...

it has to be some sort of reference, because the girls laughs and so does the audience.....it just sounds like a commercial for something...

what the hell is GLEAM? toothpaste or something?

yup! it IS a toothpaste, famous in the 50s...if you google "gleam toothpaste" you'll see.
It had to be a commercial for a whitening toothpaste for smokers because he says this when he lights a cigar...
I believe this is the most obscure reference in all of Seinfeld...
