I don't want to seem like a jerk about this, but it occured to me that since there are official DVDs now in multiple countries, perhaps it would be a nice gesture to remove the first 3 seasons' worth of episodes.

I have nothing against free distribution of stuff that was originally broadcast for free anyway, but once it becomes commercially available it sorta seems like this might be the right thing to do.

Just an idea Cool

I would agree with this to be honest. We are all Seinfeld fans and if no-one buys the DVDs because they got them from here then later seasons releases might not have as much effort put in them.

I downloaded the 1st 3 seasons months ago but bought the dvds as soon as they were released.

i don't see a connection between buying and enjoying DVD with lots of briliiant bonuses and watching poor old telly quality videos ....
it's like saying chewing gum and hoping it you'll be full as if you have eaten big salad

Either way, I wouldn't buy the dvd. Seasons 1,2, and 3 weren't that great. I wouldn't spend 35 on mediocore sitcoms.

You talk about season 5 or so, then you'd have an arguement.

im pretty sure that all of the cast involved in seinfeld, and nbc and the producers made enough money off the show that they can afford to miss out on the few sales.

although i did get the dvd's, just a point
