Does anyone know where to find an aluminum pole? Nothing fancy...just a plain aluminum pole.

Yes! Just found ours! Try any hardware store's outdoor / garden department. Ours was found in the section where they sell chain link fences. They come in varying lengths and widths. I believe our pole is a support for a chain link fence. Cost about $8.00. Good luck!

You can now buy a Festivus Pole from festivuspoles.com. The kit includes a six foot aluminum pipe (1.9" diameter) and a collapsable base. It is available in a 6 foot floor model and a 2 foot 8 inch table top model. You can also include Allen Salkin's book, "Festivus, a Holiday for the Rest of Us" if you would like. The Festivus Poles are manufactured in Milwaukee -- a city known for its high strength-to-weight ratio.

Check the Bush Whitehouse. They had a bunch of aluminium tubes that were used for an excuse to invade Iraq.
