I haven't heard such thing. I guess it would be kinda interesting, but I think they would totally screw it up.

Why would they screw it up ? Why man ?

I think, with the right jokes and stuff, you'd get a great commercial. Smile Wink

Yeah, I'm wondering why yo say they'd screw it up, Rio. I'm not disagreeing, just wondering why you think that.

Well... I think that in order for Kramer, Elaine and George to amuse us in the way that we (Seinfeld lovers) would expect, the commercials would have to be written by the Seinfeld writers. I would be a little concerned that if someone else writes it, then it will just not feel the same. I also thought that the second Amex commercial (Hindsight) was pretty disapointing and they might do the same in this case. I could be wrong, though.

hmmmm...you might be right...I remember getting this magazine about a week after the last Seinfeld ep. It was one of the many "tribute" mags that came out to capitalize on the end of the greatest sit-com ever. There was an article in it by one of the producers that was about how they got an NBC staff writer to write an episode, and they asked him "have you seen the show" and he said, " Oh yeah for sure"...so he wrote this lame, typical "Three's Company" type of formula sit-com epsisode, where there was a alot of goofy, predictable punch-lines and stupid gags, and of course, the much-needed "mis-understanding". So it became obvious that this "writer" had no idea what Seinfeld was about, and his lame script was never used....So you might be right about the wrong writer screwing it up...But I'd like to hope that, by now, anyone who would write anything involving the Seinfeld cast would know what they should be striving for.

Well, maybe you are right.

But Kramer can mess up something real good, and Jerry has to use his Amex card.

I don't know..
