Anyone read Seinfeld and Philosophy?

Anybody read this book? Its really pretty interesting. It got me thinking, maybe its best to think of Seinfeld as a moral quest, rather than an futile, unfullfilled, pathetic story of losers. I don't think these are bad people. To the superficial observer, such as the "character witnesses", maybe they are, but to the few people that know them intimately, they're not. They care deeply about their friendship and that supercedes everything in their lives.

As usual, I have no point. Happy Festivus

I read "The Simpsons and Philosophy", but my library doesn't have this one. Am looking forward to reading it if I find it though. The Simpsons one was pretty decent.

I read the first half of it. Honestly, I thought it was pretty obvious and even forced. It seemed to me that the author didn't know that much about the show (just enough to write the book, I guess), and at times it even got a little cheesy. I didn't hate it by any means, it just didn't sit too well.

Listen Horneck... uhh, Scotty rather...This friendship... It’s not working. We’re just not suited to be friends. Look, you’re a nice guy, it’s just that... we don’t have anything in common. You didn’t do anything. It’s not you, it’s Jimmy. It’s.... it's.... this is very difficult. Sad

Jimmy, I think its obvious what we have to do here. We have to have sex to save the friendship.

..and after the Knick game, mmet Kramah, Reggie Miller, and Spike Lee at a strip joint. If there is still tlak of male "bonding" after that, welll...not that's there's anything wrong with that.

I thought Jimmy didn't feel threatened by these type of things. Jimmy should be happy for Jimmy and his new life partner.

Jimmy finds the line "This is like a taste explosion" kind of disturbing coming from a man (not that there's anything wrong with that)

They should've had Elaine say it. Razz (oohhhh baby!)
