Elaine has a standard fake number that she gives out to men she is not interested in. It turns out it is the number to an off track betting joint. She goes there to see if Denim Vest has called because she gave him the fake number on the back of her submarine captain free sub card. While there she has the bookie "put a sawbuck down on Captain Nemo in the third at Belmont". The guys at the bookie say "So, you're Elaine Benis. You make a lot of man friends. You know who else is a man? Me, I'm a man."

Hilarious!! Good one. Captain Nemo, the race horse.
