How old are Jerry, Kramer, Elaine, and George suppose to be throughout the series?

I am going to guess early 30's because Elaine made a reference to her age when the 13 year old Jewish boy asked her out. She said she was in her early 20's knowing full well she was older.

At least that's my take on it. They all always looked early thirty-ish to me. Jerry is actually 50 this year so if you subtract 14 or 15 years since the show started he would have been in his mid 30's.

I'm sure there might be other clues on other episodes but I can't think of any right now.

When the show started Jerry was 36, Jason was 31, Michael was 41 and Julia was 29.

Jason Alexander was 29 or 30 when the original pilot came out.

Michael Richards was in his 40s throughout the airing of the series, but in the episode where people think George and Jerry are gay, it is revealed that the Kramer character is supposed to be in his late 30s.

And although Alexander and Seinfeld are actually five years apart in their age, Jerry is only four months older than George on the show.

Jerry mentions noticing Sherry Becker since ninth grade developing her body under loose clothing for two years. He claims to have returned "Tropic of cancer" to the library in 1971 while he was with her. This would mean he was in nineth grade (two years earlier) in 1969. "The library" episode aired in 1991, meaning Jerry and George's character would've been 36 or 37 during that episode depending on when their birthdays were and assuming they weren't held back or pushed ahead of their classmates. Jimmy's not very good at math, so feel free to correct Jimmy. Very Happy

I watched an episode yesterday where I think it said Jerry was 36, but I don't remember which one it was.

Kramer: Aaaah! Enough lying! The lying is through! C'mon, Jerry, the
masquerade is over. You're thin, late thirties, single...
Jerry: So are you...

And Jerry and George went to high school together (in the show) so I would say they are in their 30's for the show.
