In the episode where Jerry cashes a bunch of checks his Nana gave him as birthday gifts, the Branch Manager calls Nana up and tells her about the fact that the checks have over-drawn the account.
But instead of telling Nana that it was no big deal right away so she didn't have to worry about the over-drawn status on the account, he waits until the end when she can't hear him to tell her.
Obviously, he was trying to kill her by sending her to an old burned out location that was a death trap for anyone foolish enough to venture into that Hell-hole. Apparently, the Branch Manager would send elderly people to that location so he could have them beaten and robbed and then get a cut of the action from his thugs.
Truly a very dark episode that should have come with a disclaimer warning people that abuse of the elderly is part of the story line.
