Dear Stan, I wonder if you can help me with the following questions. How many commercial breaks where there when Seinfeld was aired in the US and how long where they.
And more importantly, what about more or less hidden commercials during the episodes? Did companies like J Peterman, Pendant and Risk pay to be included in the shows? or did some of the producers of the food eaten in the show? and are all the products real? like for instance The today sponge, Hennigans or Bosco?

i remember reading a while back that jerry is a big fan of snapple and he always mentioned it in the show cause he liked it and snapple didnt pay anything, so im guessing the same applies to the rest. i also remember reading the real peterman had no idea he was used as a character which means he prob didnt give them any money.

Anyways, did you guys know that the episodes aired in the US are about 30 sec. shorter than those aired in Scandinavia. I guess it is because we only have one commercial break every half hour over here..

There are a lot of fun stuff edited out of the us versions, and a lot of jokes make a less sense. Let's hope that when they launch the dvds, they include everything into the original episodes and just don't add it as bonus material..
