Can anybody say where the exterior shots of George's parents house were filmed? It's supposed to be in Queens here in NYC, and the unusual orange-ey brick is typically found in this area of New York.

I am very familiar with most of New York City's neighborhoods, but the style of this house (and its similar neighbors) is one I don't remember seeing.

Al, maybe start off with something easier, like finding a needle in a hay stack..... then move on to finding that house. Rolling Eyes

I think 2 it's 2 stops after the gas station...just make a left and it's the third house on the right, after the mail box.

A house on 37th Street in Queens was used. There's a picture of it in my 1998 People magazine, the Seinfeld special edition created when the show ended. Smile

In the Festivus episode (The Strike) George says about Festivus:

I was afraid that I would be persecuted for my beliefs. They drove my family out of Bayside, Sir!

So does this mean that the Costanza's once lived in Bayside and then moved to another section of Queens?

In the Festivus episode (The Strike) George makes a comment about Festivus:

So does this mean that the Costanza's once lived in Bayside only to reside in another section of Queens during the "Seinfeld" years?

Didn't someone else mention living in Bayside in an earlier episode? Seems like it was the guy who was trying hard to be Jerry's friend but Jerry didn't like him and only hung out with him because the guy started crying. They mentioned it "stunk of fish." Or am I thinking of a different place?
