when does the new season begin did you find out?

Is there a new season? If so, when does it start???

The new season begins filming in January...

am i the only one who finds it odd (and frustrating) that hbo does not seem to let usw know when the new season will air?

HBO tends to keep upcoming release dates on shows quiet until closer to the premier to keep down selective subscription by nonhbo people who just wanna watch certain shows

Right, but as long as people are subscribing, because they want to watch just one show that's business, plus hbo has got good stuff for everyone which most probably come to find out. I'm down with hbo but this idcking around about the new season premiere jsut tell us for christs sakes, so I have something specific and certain to look foward to.

Where did you hear that? They're supposed to just be starting to make the 5th Season this month.

It does look like there will be a 5th Season according to the FAQ page from HBO at:

Basically saying there will be a 5th Season that will begin filming in early 2005 but an air date is not posted yet...

We should be pleased. One reason the show is so damned good is because L. David is in no way going to release anything that he's not pleased with. He can afford to insist on quality comedy and can put off shooting and releasing as long as he likes. I like it that way. I've seen too many fine shows ruined by rushing out the next season, for whatever reason, pressure from the network, the need to meet schedules, etc.
Hats off to a pro.

judging by the fact that season 3 is out on dvd i would say Curb will be shown soon- cant wait?

there's nothing more annoying in this world than humans (see above post in case you have doubts)and their little small talk games... but Mr. Larry David is one of the few humans that seems to "get it". God I can't WAIT for the new season WOOHOO!

It's been 11 months since the last episode of season 4 "opening night." I'd say by the time the next season does come out it should probably be considered the beginning of season 6 just to mess with everybody, film a season 5 and release it directly to DVD, title it the "lost season". Afterall, by the time the next season starts, it will have been over a year, release it to DVD, make it look like it was the master plan. Think what has been on TV since the last episode, 3 different seasons of survivor, 2 seasons of Monk, 3 seasons of the Surreal life,O new shows of CYE, I want to be hammered with new shows, release 5 ON DVD FOR 60 bucks, then show 6 on tv at the same time, Do it......Do it......

Sunday July 3rd, 2005 looks to be the date the 5th season will start.

THE NEXT SEASON WILL BE THE 5th.
Apparantly, it is now filming and the intended release is JULY, 2005.

I'm a friend of Larry's. I was Larry's roommate in the College dorm, Freshman year. He was small and lanky, and i think it affected his self confidence, but well liked because of his sense of humor. Funny story: One night, he came home a little drunk. He was upset because a girl he liked was not succumbing to his advances. She liked another guy on our floor. I was sitting on his bed to talk. Luckily i have HBO on demand so i can watch any episode from any season anytime i want, but i've seen all of them around 15-20 times

Hi everyone. New fan here.
I don't have HBO, but I do have all the seasons of "CURB" on DVD, and I am looking forward to season 4 next month.
I absolutely LOVE this show. I have watched each episode a multitude of times, and never tire of them. I think "CURB" is one of the best comedies in TV history.
I also enjoy "Reno 911!," "The Simpsons," and "Seinfeld."
I have also purchased the BBC comedy "The Office" on DVD, and look forward to the eventual release of "Extras" on DVD.
My favorite though is "CURB." It is pretty, pretty, pretty damn good.

this new season is going to be one of the best...i've got a feeling...i don't know what it's going to be about though, in reply to your post.
and did anyone see the show that came on after, extras?! like icing to the cake-- i had seen the office, and this is just as funny. the whole interaction with the priest scene was priceless.

When will Season 6 begin? Does anybody know? I heard fall of '07 but i din't know if its true.
