I would like to thank Brett M. Carre for completing the first transcription of a Curb Your Enthusiasm episode. The script for "The Doll" can be found here.

To my knowledge, this is the very first transcript of a Curb episode available on the Internet. Since the show is filmed without using a script, it is possible that this is the only transcript (or text-version) of a Curb episode anywhere in the world.

Thanks again, Brett. One down, 39 to go! Smile

Thanks everyone,
I did notice a couple of minor errors after i sent it to stan. Stan if you want to chang this go ahead. When Larry is in thre thater he starts shout "excuse me, Mrs.??? I could not make out what it was so i put mrs.janitor. I know that is not what he said so if u want to change that u can, but everything else turned out great.

Well, I will leave it "as is" for now. But if someone can make out what he actaully said, let me know and I will update the script.

Good job on the script- I skimmed and noticed one correction:
Larry: It's an all factory nightmare in that men’s room.
Larry: It's an all (olfactory) nightmare in that men’s room.

olfactory-Of, relating to, or contributing to the sense of smell.

yeah it has subtitles, but they generalize a lot of things so you don't get the full dialogue

Well, for us non English speakers it's something excellent to have those transcriptions. Though I can catch 90% of an average episode by ear, I don't have the accuracy to do a transcription. I die to show CYE to some friends of mine who can't understand spoken English, by means of translating and subtitling DivX episodes, but I need to get the scripts first. There's a lot of people doing charity for the third world regarding food, clothings, AIDS, but nobody pays attention to more basic needs, like having Curb Your Enthusiasm properly translated! Da-da-da-DAAA! I've completed a transcript (finally!) for episode 6, "the wire". Where can I email it, or post it?

In the last scene of "The Doll" when the little girl runs out of the bathroom the subtitle says, "..That bum is in the bathroom.." in actuality it's, "..That Bald Man Is In The Bathroom.."

Script Correction:

Towards the end of the script, about the men's room, Larry says

"It's an all factory nightmare in there."

should be

"It's an olfactory nightmare in there."
As in it smells horrible

Look up olfactory if you don't know what it means.
