I am SO tired of famous people repeatedly dying over and over for days, and days, and days, and days....
The Pope, Johnny Carson, and now Rosa Parks, among many, many others.
Okay... we get it. These people made a difference. Carson made us laugh, Parks did what many other blacks had already done before her but with no recognition, and the Pope... well... uh... he did... uh... I don't know, but I think he was nice.
They're dead. Give it up already after ten days!!!
Does the media want to make us resent those whom we normally wouldn't? I don't care what anyone did, I don't feel that their death coverage should outnumber car commercials!

Here in Los Angeles the news stations pride themselves on breaking news and the latest stories. "If it's minutes old, it's old news", they say. Then they cover the same stories for a two and a half days.
They can stuff their stories in a sack! |

I just want them to re-release The Best of The Johnny Carson Show: Re-Remastered Edition on Blu-Ray dvd's with easter eggs that show the autopsy of Johnny on a slab of granite. Shocking footage yet entertaining. |

Wasn't there a Rosa Parks movie?
The ending was a bit unrealisic, said my cousin. He lives in Texas.

For a dead guy, Elvis Presley sure is a good earner. The King is #1 on "Forbes" magazine's annual list of the top moneymaking dead celebs. Presley, who passed away in 1977, earned an estimated $45 million last year. "Peanuts" creator Charles Shulz ranked at #2 with $35 million, followed by John Lennon ($22 million). Pop artist Andy Warhol was 4th ($16 million), "Cat in the Hat" author Dr. Seuss ($10 million) and screen icon Marlon Brando ($9 million) were 5th and 6th. Marilyn Monroe and "Lord of the Rings" author J.R.R. Tolkienwere tied with $8 million apiece, while George Harrison, Johnny Cash and songwriter Irving Berlin finished in a three-way tie, with each bringing in $7 million.

Good work if you can get it.

Well, they're not really dead if their shadows are... uh... something about a way... and a light, uh... ahh, who the hell knows. |

Imagine the size of the glasses case they'd need for Elvis.
Actually, I'm sure most of "Elvis"'s (That's difficult to say) money is going to Col. Parker's estate. |

If it's not dark humour, or mean-spirited, or sarcastic, I'm not laughing. |

You know sometimes, you don't know how you really feel until someone like you comes along and articulates it so well. |
