I don't think you want to report to the FBI that you got scammed trying to buy bootleg (Illegal) DVDs. That's like buying a dimebag, discovering it's actally oregano, and calling the cops to file a complaint for fraud.
"Buyer Beware."
Patience, guys...the OFFICIAL Seinfeld DVDs will be out one day. And when we all finally get them, it will be well worth the wait. |

That last comment about the FBI complaints was the funniest thing I have read in a while. Its so true, we all got scammed, I think. But we cant really do anything about it.
I bought a set from a guy on ebay for 200 and he told me that he couldnt send them because it was illegal. He said that he could not give my money back because he already spent it. I called him every name in the book and his response was......buddyits worse for me to send these DVD's out then to just keep the money and send nothing.
Copyright offence crime is worse then "ebay fraud". It is funny cause its so true. We cant do shit about it either because its illegal to buy these DVD's. The cops are not going to help you get your money back for something you should not have done in the first place.
The best we can do is complain here and hope people read this stuff and wait to buy the set in stores.
"But where does the meat go"? |

Still have received nothing. Someone (JESco2004@hotmail.com) says he has the real deal and e-mails me almost daily trying to get me to buy it. What kind of legit company would be that concerned about 1 sale? I, too, will just have to wait for the official version. "How did you know about the guy in the park?" |

Seinfeld in late 2004?
I think that many people might be interested in this Info I found, courtesy of
tvshowsondvd.com
11/09/2003
Craig Crumpton sent us an email qith a quote from the November 14 issue of Entertainment Weekly:
"Exec producer Howard West claims that DVDs *are* in the works and should roll out by late next year. 'It takes time,' he explains about adding extras -- unseen footage, behind-the-scenes interviews -- to episodes filmed as long ago as 1990. 'We have to go backward to go forward.' But Columbia-TriStar, who will distribute, says it has no timetable for the release."
This is great news and jibes with the previous info Dave posted back in May.

Wow, I feel I lost IQ points reading this thread. Use your friggin heads. There is NO OFFICIAL Seinfeld DVD release. If you buy it from someone, you risk being ripped off, poor quality and possibly the DVD not playing due to a lack of DVD standards for home users. Also, you can ASSume that a DVD release might have extra features like bloopers, or behind the scenes shots, something no DVD burning hack will have for you.
Do what I did, stop your whining, buy Tivo and wait patiently until one is released. |

Warning televisionondvd is a scam and they are the same as the other scammers. The only difference is that they have a different website url
Do not buy from them they unless you want to loose $200.

I ordered a set of Seinfeld for $200+$8 for shipping, I ordered on Friday night. I got an email stating I would get the set before Nov 26th. I was woken up at 10:30AM buy a Fed-Ex delivery of SEINFELD DVD's. They are NOT original, but they are decent quality. I cant really find anything wrong with them yet, I only watched 4 discs. Oh yea, I got them from televisiondvd.com, this is after doing a chargeback from *******direct
, not sure if its the same company, but this time I got my set, I ordered on Friday night, they shipped on Sat......Fed-Ex overnight, came monday. I paid $8 for 6-8 day delivery, not sure what gives with the overnight. I will let you know how the rest of the discs are. |

I was at a fundraiser/dinner tonight, and Jerry Seinfeld was there-
-He wasn't overly friendly, but he was cordial
(there were a lot of people trying to talk to him)
-when I got my chance, I asked him if there will ever be a DVD release of the show, and he said that it's actually in production, and they're getting all the "extras" together now, and it should be out in about a year!

If you get scammed remember to tell the credit card company you have no idea about the charge on your card! very important to LIE to them ... if you admit you okayed the charge they leave it in your hands to try and get back...say it wasnt u and u get instant credit... fyi |

From this week's TV Guide (Nov. 22-2
:
"Jerry and Co. are coming to DVD sometime next year, says the comedian's rep. However, Columbia TriStar, which will distribute the box sets, couldn't confirm what extras the discs will include. Seinfeld has said he hopes to feature outtakes and exclusive interviews. Stay tuned." |

I'm sorry if this has already been mentioned but I skipped pages 2 and 3.
Here's a site that has a petition to get the episodes on DVD.

Yipee,
Did whatBrian d suggested. Paypal launched an investigation and found the seller in the wrong but had no money to give me.
Contacted my local credit card company . They requested the documentation of the complaint and result thereof with paypal.
Today the credit card company have credited my accounts the full €209, and no lies involved.
Waiting for the official version next year. I can wait after this experience! |
