someone suggested this before...and I'll suggest it again:
Go onto Kazaa and there you will find EVERY Seinfeld episode! To help you get all the episodes, go here:
http://www.seinology.com/epguide.shtml
Plus on this site you can download cool extras (like bloopers & late night appearances).
This will definately tide you over until the official DVDs start coming out.

Re: Xtreme987's comment! I'm From Denmark and I heard the same thing from my local videoclerk. These guys know everything about what's gonna be released in the near future, and he said that he had heard rumours from his boss. Please make this the best Christmas ever!!!! |

I purchased the 23 DVD set back in July, and it is simply awesome! I was a little concerned that I may be getting ripped off, but I gambled and it paid off immensely! I checked to be sure the site I got it from is still up, and it is. In fact, the guy has added a 24th "blooper" disk to the package. He communicated with me very well, and cases/DVD labels and everything (not to mention picture quality) are superb! The site is www.b3computer.com/seinfeld13.htm. |

Who gives a flying one about extras, interviews, bloopers and whatnot? I don't care what the actors are like or how many times they fouled it up - 'it was hilarious' blah blah blah - they should just give us the episodes, all of them, now.
It's another example of the market not working, demand not ensuring supply and a bunch of corporate slags not putting out until people are really gagging for it and are willing to pay anything. Come next Mayday, this will be my banner:
SEINFELD PIGS GIVE US DVDS
and everyone will know just what I mean. |

Speaking for myself (obviously), I am glad that they are taking thier time to get the official DVD release done right. I'd rather wait impatiently than to be given a less-than-stellar presentation of the best sitcom ever (arguably).
Some may not not care for the extras, but I enjoy them. That's a great feature of the DVD format. Why wouldn't (shouldn't) they use it to the fullest? My tune may change once they are released and we find that the extras are poorly done and the production is poorly executed. But for now, I have faith that they are handling it with care.
The bad news about all of this is that the seasons will probably be time released 6 to 8 months apart (if they follow the "Cheers" plan), which means we will all be 4 to 5 years older by the time we have them all. |
