Interesting, Pallbear. The site was there before, too - but there was a message that the site was shutting down and that anyone who ordered after Oct. 6 will have to request a refund because they would not ship those orders. Strange, seems like that message is gone. Who knows what will happen next? As I said before, buyer beware...

Stan - interesting indeed! Looks like it's business as usual right now (whatever that means)! You're right, "You pays your money and you takes your chances!" Order fulfillment is spotty at best - I lucked out. - Paul

Okay the site has gone down again. At least for now, it is showing a GoDaddy parked domain page....but by the time you read this, it could be back up and selling homemade DVDs on this (or another) domain...

Hi there,
I'm from Belgium and I love Seinfeld. For years I've wonder when would they release the series on DVD. I'm glad that the first season will go out soon. BUT I fear we won't be able to get it right here before a looooong time.
Do you know if there will be french subtitles on the american DVD?
And by the way, how come it's impossible to download the full episodes from this site, Stan???

My two cents:

I saw Jerry's stand-up routine a couple of years ago and he did a Q&A session. Someone asked if he's going to release the series on DVD. He said no, he's currently busy making a lot of money with them in syndication, so "why would I want to sell them to you?" It was funny the way he said it. But sad at the same time.

As for being shorter than the originals...all syndicated shows are cut in order to cram in more commercials. In the early nineties shows were 22 min long. Syndicated shows are only 18-20. So they may cut off up to 4 minutes. Now primetime shows are only 20 minutes long to start with, so there's less to cut (and less to watch in the first place! >Sad

I ordered my set for $200 on Oct. 10, using paypal, and have yet to receive it. After reading all of the comments from others, I don't have very high hopes. I'll share gasfare with the guy who wants to go up to Canada and kick some Canuck ass! SERENITY NOW!!!!

Dave, believe it or not - I grew up in Brampton, Ontario - the city listed on that site. The next time I'm in Brampton to visit my parents, perhaps I could ring the doorbell for ya. Smile

Thanks, Stan. I still have a smidgen of hope that I will get my set, and if not, that my credit card can cancel payment. If not, chalk one up for stupidity. No offense meant by the "Canuck" term. Being from Minnesota and having the best hockey coach to come from the great white north coaching our team, I love all things Canadian. Except for maybe one company.... I'll keep you posted on my results. And you want to be my latex salesman...

No problems, Dave. And I wouldn't call that site a "company" - it's just some dude making DVDs in his basement. But it seems like some people have received product and/or refunds, so you may be okay.

a, perhaps you should watch The Caddy Read the script of The Caddy Download the full epiosde video of The Caddy Discuss The Caddy episode Smile

I ordered the DVDS from DVDS ONLINE on 9/15 and still havent' received them yet. Last week I had emailed them to check the status and it came back unknown. Does anyone know whats going on with this situation? My husband and I are huge Seinfeld Buffs(best show around) and this was supposed to be a birthday gift for him, Oct 31!(obviously not now). Has anyone ordered anything from them before?

Beth,

I did order from them and did get the product but it seems to be hit and miss. Who can say why some people got them and some didn't. So far I've scanned all of the DVDS and they seem to play find and the first 3 DVDs played beginning to end with no problem. (I mention this because a lot of the hubs on the cases were broken and many of the DVDs were lose in the case and had some scratches on them.)

Good luck getting yours (I ordered on 9/19 by the way - the whole long boring details are on my post above dated October 11.)

I was scammed by *******direct .com. Anyone remember the name and address of the guy from *******direct .com? Martin-something? Please e-mail me this information. I would appreciate it. I plan to file a complaint to the BBB. That probably won't do any good. To everyone who has been scammed, I sent a check. Can I get a refund through my bank or do I actually have to go to this guy's house?

Well im trying to take care of this legit, but Paypal isnt helping and I talked to NBC (because I bought the disc form there site) and those $%(#*@&'s told me that its not there fault that they listed a Fake product on there site. Seriously, thats what they said to me. What a Joke!! So im not sure what my step is going to be.. But im not going to rest until i have my money back.

On Oct 24 I asked Stan why he calls himself the Caddy.

BP, referring to your comment on Oct 28, I must say that I take offence !

Just because I don't know the title of every Seinfeld episode, or because I don't remember ALL of the 180 episodes, doesn't make me any less of a Seinfeld fan. I can still enjoy the show, no ?
