If you don't say anything in the next five seconds, I'll know it's over a thousand. |

I always loved this part:
ALTON: Wait a minute. What the hell do you call this?
JERRY: Oh, I turned my jacket inside out.
ALTON: Well, you look like a damn fool!
JERRY: (Like a child) Well, it's a new suede jacket. It might get ruined.
ALTON: Well, you're not going to walk down the street with my and my daughter dressed like that! That's for damn sure.

"Why oh why did they never bring Alton Benes back? Those bastards!"
Because, the guy who played him, Maura Tierny's(ER) father I think, really freaked the cast out. He apparently came at Jerry with a knife making the screeching violin sounds from "Psyco". I read that he really freaked them out, not just with that. My info came from the TVGuide from a few weeks ago with the Seinfeld cast on the front, it had a little thingy about him.
Also because he was caught stealing props from the set |

You´re wrong Mike! That guy is not Maura Tierney´s father. Don´t just assume things like that if you don´t know. Maura´s father is a politician.
Otherwise you´re right; they would have loved to bring the character back but the actor was just too crazy so they decided not to. |

It's easy to say this as I have seen this episode so many times, but Jerry seems like a quick thinking guy throughout the series. So why didn't he just keep the jacket inside out and just walk way ahead of the group or way behind to avoid looking like a damn fool.
Besides that point, I like when Jerry and George walk out of the bathroom and Jerry throws the paper towel down and misses the trash can. I just caught that about the 50th time I've seen the episode. |

They take you out with simplicity, they take you out don't they?? You feel out of the house at a party somewhere or georges' workplace or the video-rental store! They just simply take you out. |

Exactly what I've thought when I watched this. I've also thought of what George should have said when Mr. Benes confusingly called his own book "drivel." Of course, if characters don't act like idiots, where's the comedy?
How exactly is suede "ruined" by snow? I can't really tell from looking at the jacket at the end. |
