In the very first scene, when George is skipping and spinning down the street, he steps off the curb and almost gets hit buy a car.
On the pavement there's what look like chalk marks of T's that are what I think an actor's mark would look like so he's in the right place for some shot or another.
But George ignores these marks, so they must be for some other scene.
I think this would be considered a goof. It ruins the illusion of it being a real NYC street. My suspended disbelief becomes unsupported and drops right to the floor.
