He was played by someone other than Jerry Stiller in the episode of The Pilot (Pt 1 and 2) because George agrees to become his butler since he stuffed up his party (or whatever), tho I can't remember who played him. I don't think he has played Frank any other times other than this time.

just saw a tape of that show. amazing, a different Frank! it's the episode where George parks his dad's car in a handicap spot and it gets trashed.
for reruns they refilmed the Franks scenes with Jerry Stiller. So only a tape of the original broadcast shows the other Frank.
i borrowed such a tape from a friend and was amazed. |

frank co. was originally played by now deceased actor john randolph. he is also known as chevy chase's father in Christmas Vacation. just a side note, if you guys did your homework, you would have found randolph's name on this very site, bithces! |
