I was wondering what George's Jersey number was when he worked for the Yankees? Is there a place where I can buy one? Anyhelp would be much appreciated. My old man is a yankee/seinfeld fan and would love to get him that jersey for x-mas. thanks

Most people who wear a "Costanza" jersey elect to put a double zero on the back of the Jersey or a single zero. George never had a jersey but its common to see a "Costanza" double Zero sitting in the bleachers.

They sold t-shirts a few years ago with COSTANZA and Double-Zero on the back. Just a basic blue shirt with white letters.

I regret not buying one when I saw them at the mall back then.

That's because it's in "OOH OOH". Like Koko the Monkey.

But he got that jersey when he was with Kruger Industrial Smoothing. But the 00 is logical, because that's the only jersey I ever saw him get.

A Yankee #7 jersey with anybody's name on it other than MANTLE is a sacrilege, and the wearer of it should be ashamed of himself.

Button up the front...pinstripes and everything...? How do they do it?

Actually, anyone with a Yankee jersey that has ANY name on it is a sacrilege. In addition, anyone WEARING a Yankee jersey (or any jersey) over the age of, say, 17, is an utter loseah.

Yankees jersey? What kind of abnormal garment is that? And those kids who had their own jersey. I hated those kids. In fact I hate anyone that ever had a yankees jersey when they were growing up!

Don't they have Yankee shirts in the south? I mean, if you wear a Yankee shirt in the south, are they offended?

The most pathetic, and juvenile thing I've ever seen in my life are people wearing sport jerseys with their favorite players' names on the back. I always tell about the Joe Namath #12 pajamas I wore when I was six, but that at least I grew out of them. Rolling Eyes

There's an unadvertised sale on those jerseys starting tomorrow. I hid the one I want on another rack.

Rack? Those aren't buoys.
