Gladys appears to be a slacker sales clerk at 'Putumayo', an ethnic clothing store specializing in South American garb, and angers Elaine into deciding not to buy a pair of hirachis. When Elaine starts shopping at a similar store, "Cinco de Mayo" at the suggestion of Kramer, she finds out that Gladys Mayo owns BOTH stores.
