Elaine's boyfriend in "The Nap." Threw his back out a few years ago and has been really careful since then. Refuses to sit on park benches and shops at the Lumbar Yard. Thinks Kramer and Elaine have slept together on the matress he purchased for her.

Hahahahah! I love this episode. Watching it right now. I never understood the Kistmiller / Langerhans thing, except for the running gag that Kramer can't remember. Very funny.

I always thought the Kitsmiller / Langerhans thing was based on the fact that both names sound a little bit perverse in nature when misheard ( kid smeller / lay your hands ). I've been told that I'm crazy, and that I'm the only person who interprets it this way, but that's what makes the joke for me. Wink
