Today (4/29) is Jerry Seinfeld's Birthday. So if Jerry checks this site (which I doubt), Happy Birthday!

I'd join in the hooplah but I don't celebrate "brithday's", kiss hello, or converse with people who failed in phonix..(dammit)...phonics. They drove me out of Bayside.

Well, birthdays are merely symbolic of how another year has gone by and
how little we've grown. No matter how desperate we are that someday a better
self will emerge, with each flicker of the candles on the cake, we know it's not
to be, that for the rest of our sad, wretched pathetic lives, this is who we are
to the bitter end. Inevitably, irrevocably; happy birthday? No such thing.

It was cheap and easy, but I figured if I didn't so it, someone else would. These jokes are in the air....they're in the air!

(To the tune of a funeral dirge)

Happy Birthday
Oh, Happy Birthday
People dying everywhere
And despair
Happy Birthday
Oh, Happy Brithday

On a brighter note, my wife and I are going to see Richard Lewis Saturday night in San Jose. Figuring he will mention Curb in some context. He's been all over the radio here the past few days. Some very funny stuff about Larry David.

This is "forced socializing!" Just because we post in the same forum, why do we have to act like we're friends? Trying to fill the void in our lives with flour and sugar, and egg and vanilla? I mean, we are all unhappy! Do we have to be fat, too? (Not you Ramon, I know you have a slow metabolism)

This is no joke, there is cake and sugar-by products at my office every other day. One day someone's going to go into diabetic shock and crash headfirst into their keyboard. They just celebrated Happy Professional Day with a mammoth three layer cake with an ice cream filling. Everyone's vision was blurred after that. It's outrageous, egregious, tasteless, capricious...
