I'm going to New York in a few weeks and was wondering if it's worth checking out Tom's Restaurant (used for the exterior shots of Monks). Have any of you folks been there ? Do they have Seinfeld stuff ?

I used to work around there many years ago and ate there a few times. The interior is, of course, very different from the Seinfeld set. I remember them having some cast pictures on the walls though.
I'm pretty sure it was 112th street and Broadway. Maybe 111th? |

112 & Broadway. I went and enjoyed it, though as JFS said the inside is different and they weren't selling Seinstuffs. However, they do sell postcards and that kept me happy enough.
then again I am deeply sad.
Go, and tell us what you eat. |

fourengland8,
it's not 3000 miles from new york, it's in new york. they said it was 3000 miles from where they shot the show in Los Angeles.

Well, the point is, it's 3000 miles away from somewhere. |

Does operating a computer use a different side of the brain than say... logic, reasoning, common sense? How do some people even GET here? |

Actually, I think what they meant was that New York is 3000 miles away from New York. It's at the Nexis of the universe. |

Excuse me, this is not right.
You see, you're going... "Now THAT'S weird." You wanna hit "WEIRD" more: "Now that's WEIRD." You see the difference? |

But someday. we'll all be talkin' via brain waves instead of computers and then it will be "NOW that's weird". |

I dunno, Jimmy...You're usually about 100% right, but I tried it both ways, and I still think the accent should be on "that's" as opposed to "weird." |
