Do you get MeTV in your area of Los Angeles???

My cable provider recently added it to their lineup and it's freakin' awesome! It's like I've been transported back to the early 70's, and I'm watching re-runs during Summer vacation.

Then there's the weekend lineup of shows such as Car 54, Dobie GIllis and Get Smart.

On occasion they also play episodes of Hazel, My Three Sons and The Flying Nun.

All they need to do now is to add Ozzie & Harriet, Mr. Ed, The Beverly Hillbillies and Green Acres to the lineup.

We don't get Petticoat Junction. I remember seeing re-runs in the early 70's and it was ok.

Make Room For Daddy and The Donna Reed Show are new additions to our lineup out here. I've never seen Make Room for Daddy so we'll see what that's all about. I was also too young for The Donna Reed Show, but I used to watch it on Nick at Nite in the late 80's when they had all those black and white sitcoms like Mr. Ed, My Favorite Martian and Hazel in their lineup. Hazel...

Branded was on for a while, but they just replaced it with something else. I barely remember seeing it (in re-runs, I'm sure) when I was a kid so it was kinda cool to see "Rifleman", Lucas McCain in a slightly different role.

Well, that's it for me! It's almost time for Mary Tyler Moore, Bob Newhart, The Odd Couple and The Twilight Zone. G'nite everybody!

When I say I was too young to watch Make Room For Daddy and The Donna Reed Show, what I meant to say is I wasn't even born yet.

I *did* see Sgt. Bilko for the first time a couple of years ago at my in-laws in Northern California but I wasn't impressed. After seeing Phil Silvers in "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World", his show was kind of a letdown. And wasn't Sam the Butcher also on Sgt. Bilko? I think he was because I thought to myself, damn how many shows was he on back then? (Bilko, Dick Van Dyke, Brady Bunch, etc...)

Anyways...

Now on Sunday we have Lost in Space with Dr. Smith and in the evening Batman,na na na na na na BATMAN! Same bat time, same bat station!
