Hey Stan,
This is a great site. I'm happy to have a way to get these shows on line. I have a suggestion for you though. I think it might be more efficient for all of us who are downloading them if you would set up an ftp server. Using the bit torrent software isn't very fast, and it's too dependent on other users being on at the same time. Kazaa isn't the way to go, considering the fact that it automatically installs spyware on the user's machine. You can get a FREE ftp server at http://www.cerberusftp.com/ I hope you'll check in to this.

Dave do you not think it is very selfish and ungrateful to ask Stan to change HIS methods of giving out these shows which he does for free !!.

Perhaps you should look at your own setup equipment etc and change that to enable YOU to get the shows.

Speaking personally i have been able to acquire ALL the 180 Seinfeld episodes in HQ in less than 6 weeks.......and yes i DO leave my windows open.

So not just to you Dave but to all the moaners on here think about getting a decent pc,a good Bit Torrent client and a GOOD broadband speed before you offer up any solutions.

Well said, Nobody Smile

The problem is that the FTP solution has been tried before and has failed abysmally in situations where the material consumes huge amounts of bandwidth. It's OK if there's a handful of individuals downloading, but beyond that it breaks down. You need a server farm and OC-3 Internet connections to support this kind of bandwidth demand, and that costs megabucks!!! I'm impressed with BitTorrent as an ingenious solution that benefits everyone by letting the users share the bandwidth load, but for that to work it helps to have a community willing to leave their BT download windows open *after* they have sucked down the stuff they want, so that other users can benefit. So let's keep this community going by letting BT uploads run as long as possible on all our PC's ... personally I have had no problem at all getting the "official" posted HQ episodes ...

Stan the Caddy's s website is the one by far which works best with BT.It should remain has it is.I even use it with a mac and it runs pretty smoothly and at a very good rate.No complain on my part.I've downloaded all
seven available seasons in about a month and a half and even reseeded for days to give a hand to others.Yes I admit it takes a little while and might slow down for days sometimes but aren't the effort and waiting part of the fun process.
I mean I don't get it when some of you want to actually pay others to get them for you.First of all it is illegal(as a music writer I am concerned about that issue),and second you miss the whole point of a sharing community like this one.

D.I.Y. (it'll only make you enjoy it more) Wink

Personally this is the first time I've bothered using bit torrent, but I guess I can complain since I got all the 7 High Quality seasons in about 5 days. I agree ftp is really no option for this sort of download. It way to huge and no-one is gonna offer the sort of speed internet connection to host one for free.
