Sorry if this is a newbie question. I've been recording episodes on my computer as they re-air and burning to VCD. I've got about 150, but as you can imagine, some aren't the best quality, sound is sometimes bad, and some of them are cut off. I've heard that there is a bit torrent of all episodes in HQ. I'd love to download them all. I tried by searching through suprnova and the torrents don't work correctly. If I could get these, I'd seed a torrent for them. I've got a full time internet connection and an ftp server. Would someone help me with this?

Unfortunately, as you can see from some of the other posts, the tracker is currently down. I know this has happened before but I wasn't doing downloads then so I have no idea how long this outage may last. Hopefully back up soon Smile

Well hey ...you say you have a full time internet connection ... and a FTP server ...

If your internet connection is acceptable as speed we can use your FTP to share episodes. There is another ftp up and running right now and it wouldn't hurt to have another one... just set up a FTP for this purpose, tell us the info so we can start upload HI-Q episodes in there and share all.

I have about 100 HI-Q episodes so far and others have the rest... it worked great with ken's FTP and now some of us are still downloading from there.

Waiting for your answer.

go for it...

login Jerry
pass Seinfeld

it is case sensitive. Let me know if you have any problems. I'm not sure what speed I'm capped at by my ISP.

One other thing. I've read about other people who set up FTP sites getting viruses uploaded. Please don't upload viruses and keep some sort of common naming convention so that others can know what they are downloading. Since the bandwidth may be capped, I'm limiting to 8 simultaneous users. Depending on feedback of time it takes to download, it may be reduced to 5 simultaneous users.

It is 21. power went out, but it should be running now. I'm going to try to get on the other ftp server mentioned on this board tonight so that I can make some of those available on my server as well.

Could you please make sure that resume support is enabled?
I tried to upload some last night, but it kept getting cut off or something and then it wouldn't resume. If you can't get resume, at least allow deletion from the uploads directory otherwise I'll have to keep renaming my files in order to upload!

hayden listen up ... its stupid to have both the uploads and downloads using the same user.
Cause for example I was uploading something on your ftp and I tried to download with another ftp session but there were too many connections with the Jerry user. So I had to stop the upload in order to download. Its stupid and I would like to contribute in order of us to have as many ftps opperational.

right now its equator's ( which is almost full ) and yours. let's try and fill both of them and so we could all get the whole collection.

come on you guys contribute the episodes you have and we will have 2 full ftps in no time Smile

Sorry, should have updated this post as well.

upload can be done by using username seinfeldup
password seinfeld

I'm still allowing the jerry account to upload since right now there are people uploading. once people realize they can login to the upload account for uploads, i will disable uploading on the jerry account.

email me if you need anything (i.e. another account to upload if you can't get through) and I can change settings to allow/disallow users. Currently the download userid allows 8 connections. I believe this only allows users to pull about 10k...It will be a direct trade off, less users, i can offer more bandwidth, more users, each user gets less bandwidth....let me know what you guys want.

Man the FTP is working ... but its damn slow man ... right now I have 1.8 K/s .Sometimes I hit 10K but only for a little while. It might be too many users in the same time... have you considered having the limit to a lower value ? this way once you are in there you can download at a decent rate ... I dont know ... just a proposal
