I hate Seinfeld reruns

They cut so many chunks of the episodes. I didn't see hardly any episodes their first airing but even when I watched the reruns a couple of years ago they had parts that are cut out of the reruns that show now on local TV and TBS on cable. (TBS really cuts the episodes BTW) So not only did I miss stuff that was cut out of the first airing there is even more parts that are cut now. I'll give you an example which is kind of weird. On my local carrier of Seinfeld UPN 13 they always show a preview of the episode right before it comes on ("On the next Seinfeld") and it'll show a small tidbit from the show. Well when The Slicer Read the script of The Slicer Download the full epiosde video of The Slicer Discuss The Slicer is about to come on the preview shows this scene where Elaine is dreaming she is in bed with Jerry, George, and Kramer. Then when the actual episode comes on they cut that part out (I believe it is the first scene). I have never seen that scene before and its so aggravating because that little 3 second clip is not the whole scene either its just a lousy commercial. Look at any script on this site (excellent BTW) and there is parts that are cut out of the reruns, usually the very beginning. And if your like me you have missed tons of edited material that won't be seen again until hopefully a DVD comes out. We can only hope Smile

I have noticed a rediculous amount of editing, especially on TBS versions. I presume they do it to fit more commercials in the 30 minute time slot. I guessif they can squeeze out 30 seconds of footage, they can squeeze in another commercial.

The intros are the worst parts. Most of the "comedy club" intros are edited out, and they just show the credits on the first scenes. Even some of the regular intros that ran on NBC are cut out, and sometimes the first scene doesn't make sense because you missed what they had just said.

Why would anyone wear a shirt with a "I'm a dumbass" metaphor? Laughing

I happen to like Seinfeld re-runs.

They're clever. I like that they're so funny and so comfortable with each other. To me the plots ring true. That's the idea. That's what's clever about it... they're talking about nothing.

No one is telling you guys to like it.

That's you can't spell ...

I can't spell at times also, but I don't berate people like Wilhelm for it all the time. You're the one I rip on, Jimmy.

I'll buy you that Dumbass shirt, Jimmy.

Great, asshole! That was a test for Brian to catch (notice the italics, dipshit?) to further rip on his lousy T-shirt-selling stupidity if he replied without mentioning it.

Too bad for you that your little rant is meaningless once again, jackass. Sorry to make an ass out of you, but you're hopelessly easy.

If you'd paid any attention to my posts to Wilhelm, I told him the same thing I've told others here a hundred times; "Everyone here, including myself, make mistakes"... but he started with the "stupidity" insults while using incorrect English. It's called "irony." That's the only reason I attacked him for it, that's the only time I have ever attacked anyone for it, and that's the only time I ever will attack anyone for it, dumbshit. When is that point going to sink into all of you stupid f**kers' heads? How many times do you need it explained?

By the way... it's can't write, not can't right... and you left out a question mark after "aren't you." Just thought I'd mention it since you insulted my intelligence afterward. See how it works now, pear-shaped loser?

Oh, and thanks for the shirt, but it'll "fit" you better. Get it? Laughing

Maybe it's got something to do with that question mark in the middle.
