What was the mailman's comment to Leo on the sidewalk in front of Leo's building? "Hey what's with Jerry not signing for a package?"

How does the mailman know that uncle Leo and Jerry are related? Jerry and uncle Leo have different last names. Why would he think they are related? Anyone want to take a guess?

It's a small, small world.

BTW, Mookie, what was Leo's last name?

How did Elaine know Jerry's name when we first saw her? I don't recall him ever introducing himself to her. Why would she think he even knew her? Anyone want to take a guess?

Well Jimmy, now you're just being ridicurous.

I still say it makes no sense that the mailman would know Jerry and Leo are related. It defies logic. Wouldn't the mailman also then know the relatives of each of the residents on his routes, even if they didn't share the same last name?

Jackie, I don't know Leo's last name but I'm sure it would be the same as Helen's maiden name.

Now, where's that Glamour magazine?

Then you completely missed my point. I gave you the answer to your question. It's the same answer you get from my question.

Nah Jimmy, I got your point (I think).

Sure, the viewer just assumes there is a history between the characters. Kramer has many referenced friends and it's ok that we never know how those friendships began.

But with some things I like gaps to be bridged. What can I say? I'm originally from Missouri. I can still read between the lines but still, Show Me! Laughing

...and what is this RU?!

oops- wrong thread. Confused

Actually this is one of those questions about small details of a SITCOM that make a show work in 22 mins. If you have to ask then maybe you are thinking too hard while watching the show. Rolling Eyes

And another thing... you are questioning meaningless coincidences on a show, not about nothing, but about coincidences. BIG coincidences! The whole show is coincidences!

I know, lets start a thread called the top 10 best coincidences. Very Happy

Or maybe you're *not* thinking too hard while watching the show. Rolling Eyes

I guess having seen these shows time after time after time, the details are all I have left. I just found it curious is all.

Ok- here's one for you then.. in the switch, Kramers name is finally revealed to be Cosmo. Nobody knew it. Later that day (or maybe the next day) Kramer and Babs are walking down the street and everybody knows Cosmo- Hey Cosmo, What do you say Cosmo?

How did everybody know so soon??!!! Was it on the 6:00 news?

Hey, no sweat Yev. You demand perfection from yourself. You suffer for your posts.

And about everyone on the street knowing Cosmo's name right away, that's what I like to know about it. Laughing
