Obviously, i don't need to tell you how much Seinfeld plays a large role in my life. But i sometimes wonder if it's doing more harm than good. That anti-social behaviour that has made a star out of Larry David, has rubbed-off on me a bit and I find myself having the same kind of problems and obsessions as Larry. I've discovered i don't enjoy parties very much anymore because of the forced socializing and the fakeness to it. You're often there talking to complete strangers as if you've known them all your life. The conversations are so uninteresting. I see everyone else having fun and wonder if i'll ever be able to go back to that.

I find myself dreading to have a cup of rum in my hand because i know some jack-ass with nothing else to say will come to me saying: "What is that rum? NIIICE!"

Is this happening to you? Should i be worried about this? Because before i know it, i'm going to park in a handicap spot, steal an old lady's marble rye and injure a bubble boy.

Seinfeld can be hazardous to your health. I laughed at it so hard the other day, they had to give me an extra shot of hemoglobin.

I know exactly what you mean, Jeffrey. I find myself in many situations where I don't know what I'd do without a reference to the show.
The party thing? Oh yeah....it's such a bore. People want to ask questions and I just want to be left alone to observe, and make comments to my husband about people. Laughing
Here's what we do, and it would've fit into the show perfectly. The next time someone asks you a stupid question, like the one with the glass of rum....just say "I like pencils." They're guaranteed to walk away and not bother you again. Very Happy Sure, they might make comments about you to the other people at the party. But, oh well! You'll be giving them a story to tell the rest of their lives.

Here, here, Queen.

Jimmy has always been a loner (not really anti-social, but just not interested in the BS everyone else is into. holidays, birthdays, sports, barbeques.... *barf* No kids, no wife, no girlfriend... but plenty of sex and TV.

That's probably why Jimmy's related to the show so much and has been using quotes to reply to people in every conversation, everywhere Jimmy ihappens to be. Most of the time they don't get it and think Jimmy's a freakin asshole... but Jimmy understands the lines, knows where they come from, and pats himself on the back everytime he scores a good one. That's all that matters.

If Jimmy ever asked a woman a question at a party, and she answered with "I like pencils," Jimmy wouldn't walk away... Jimmy would then know where to hang out at THAT party.

Jimmy, how the hell you relate to the show? The way you act on this board and what you just said about being a loner, anti-conformist with no girlfriend, you have nothing in commun with any of the Fab 4 of the Show.
Jerry always have many girlfriend, George also and so does Elaine. And even If you could relate to CYE, larry has a wife in the show.

OK...I'm sure that Jimmy can stick up himself and he will. But let's get one thing straight...Jerry and George didn't have "girlfriends"...they just got laid every week...get it straight, there's a huuuuge difference.

Obliged for the offer, Gack, but this seems more like a shot-o-Henngians in length, unless the good doctor is a glutton for punishment, that is.

Alright, I meant that Elaine also had many boyfriend. I see that Jimmy didn't want to reply to my comment. Maybe cuz he doesn't want to waste is time or maybe cuz i'm right..or maybe he's never had someone stir up all of these
convictions inside of him...maybe he's questioning his Seinfeldian faith and he's thinking of
leaving the forum?

Well Gendison, there's a little feature called : Girlfriends counter.....

Well, maybe because if they called it a "pussy counter", it might offend some people. When Jimmy said "no girlfriend" for him, I'm sure he didn't mean he's celibate. Why don't you just let him live, why can't he just be...In the meantime, you can spend all YOUR energy on REALLY important things like the title of an episode...Oy gevalt!
