I'm sure you Seinfeld fans realize this but I'm bringing it up to talk about just how terrible the Kramer character was in the early episodes. He was so dumb and boring, basically retarted.

Does anyone know in which specific episode Kramer turned into the good Kramer we know?

The pilot(The Seinfeld Chronicles), has one of my favorite Kramer (or Kessler, as he was called in this episode) moments of the show. He walks in and takes two pieces of bread out from his pockets.
"Ya got any meat"

He does seem dull in those episodes, because it takes time to make a character. Homer Simpson wasn't as hilaious untill the 3rd season. Kramer took time. Plus we have seen him being so great in the newer episodes, nothing can compare.

I still think he was pretty good in the early episodes, like when I mentioned above, and in The Revenge, when he's putting cement in the drycleaners machines.

you are an absolute DOLT! kramer was prime real estate from the very 1st episode. in the early episodes he was very low key, but his expressions were hysterical. always looking at jerry like he knew what was going on but had no idea.
so no, we dont know what you're talking about.

I see what you're saying about Kramer in the early episodes. It looked like they wanted to go in a different direction with the character than what it finally became.

But I do think that they refined him pretty quickly, so after like the first 8-9 episodes he grew into the Kramer we know and love today.

You're right, and this has been discussed a little bit more in depth in another thread or 2...In the begininning, he just seemed like a take-off of Jim from "Taxi"...He did an awesome job at developping the character, though, but at the beginning he was just your typical TV goof.

You know, Kramer could almost been a lawyer.
Imagine that Kramer a lawyer, he would be worser than jackie chiles

I find that comment rude, egregious, unfathomable. But, I agree. After all, I would at least wait to hear what would be offered after the word “PLUS”!
