For those in the forum who can read and have a library card. Giddyup down to the library or buy flagged books of the entire Letters From A Nut series written by Ted L. Nancy which is a pen name for Jerry Sienfeld. These books are beyond funny as Ted Nancy writes to companies, hotels and famous people with inane requests and complaints. He writes to a wedding chapel and asks if it would be possible to consumate his marriage in the chapel director's office, (it is he and his wife's deepest wishes). He promises to put plastic sheets down. It's damn funny. Put down the block of cheese, put on a shirt and pants, drape yourself in velvet for all I care but go get this book.

I actually became physically ill I was laughing so hard when reading that very book a few years ago! But I doubt Seinfeld himself actually wrote it (he claimed to have discovered the letters and promised never to divulge the writer's true identity), because he wouldn't have had the time to devote to such an endeavor. Whoever did, though, is -- in my humble opinion -- a true genius of the caliber of our beloved Jerry...

(sad postscript: After having read it, I began loaning the book out to friends and eventually lost track of it. How I wish I had it back... )

You're a pathetic friend moops.... like the library itself .... a government funded pathetic friend. You let others borrow any of your books, if they would just be your friend.

Oh... what'd ya gonna do... charge 'em a nickle?
