Pig Man just watched some crazy show on A&E and this dude was making people levitate on the sidewalk. P-I-G is no fool, but this looked real. You guys think levitation is possible? Not the normal thread....but it caught my eye.

Criss Angel is who you are thinking of I believe. If so, he is pretty amazing, I haven't gotten around to watching his show yet, but I will soon enough.

It sounds like David Blaine too. He does the same thing. It always looks real to me too.

David Blaine made himself levitate(which looked real to me, but you never know with TV camera tricks and such), I don't think he made others levitate. Never heard of this Criss Angel guy, but he sounds amazing.

So gravity affects all matter except TV illusionists? Good. Now that we've got that straight. Rolling Eyes

Gravity? I never heard of it. Did they just invent it?

Jimmy likes that new thing called his own disbelief, scientist have successfully levitated a frog by altering the magnetic fields surrouding objects. Soon, they believe they will be able to levitate a human being.

Disbelief? What does one thing have to do with another? Do these illusionists alter magnetic fields around their volunteers? No

Next topic... Rolling Eyes

actually jimmy they can put their volunteers into a deep trance, in which the brain can release certain chemicals that alter the magnetic fields...haven't u ever heard of the saints levitating during intense prayer?...or yoga masters rising off the ground? Lets not be closed minded, sarcastic, and ignorant now. You got served biatch!

"haven't u ever heard of the saints levitating during intense prayer?...or yoga masters rising off the ground?"

Yes.... well before you were ever born.

Jimmy'll go to that web site when he starts to watch reality TV shows. Fake laughter, fake crying, fake reactions, fake, fake... fake fake.

Oh yeah, and uh... fake levitating. Laughing

Also, you're missing the point. Saints, Yoga masters, Jedis... are not illusionists or entertainers. Jimmy was addressing the comments about David Blaine and Criss Angel, not the original question of whether or not levitation is possible. You never wrote who the person was whom you saw on A&E. That could possibly make a difference with Jimmy's opinion on the subject. Then again, maybe not.

As far as professional entertainers go... if they could levitate, they would most likely be working in a different field (like engineering future aircraft).

Is it possible for man to cause objects to be repelled from the Earth's magnetic core, without any traditional power sources? Who knows. Has it already been done? Possibly.

Can David Blaine, Criss Angel, and countless others levitate? Highly doubtful. Those are simply illusions. However, if you assume Jimmy is a disbeliever of levitation, than you have jumped to that conclusion unjustly.

If one disagrees with something someone else has written, that's fine. But if one disagrees with something one ASSUMES someone has written..... well... that just makes one look like an ass, now doesn't it?

I once levitated a guy so skinny I couldn't even see him.

How, you ask, did I know he was there?

I guess i just assumed....

For the record, I'm not sure that this topic has even the faintest hint of relation to the Seinfeld world (perhaps i've missed the link?)

I'm with Jimmy here. Next topic.

Yeah, I saw that Angel guy on E Channel doing voodoo stuff where a person would have a doll and stab it with a pin and wherever they stabbed it, Angel would start bleeding there. Weird, wild stuff. Very Happy

My mother caught me. I was alone and decided to levitate. I tell you one thing, I am never doing that again.
