Most (if not all) of the CYE episodes that I've seen have non-recurring Seinfeld actors. I love it!

It is my understanding that David takes care of his "peeps". Good for him, too!

Bookman was the funniest non-recurring character to appear on Seinfeld, IMO.

I just watched the "The Library" episode (the fifth from Season 3), and I loved Mr. Bookman! Excelent!

Can someone tell the name of the actor?

oh i hate myself for this. i really, really do. why? because you seem like a pretty nice guy, J. Chiles. but i have a problem, and i can't help myself. just getting this out of the way now, because i don't want anyone thinking i'm trying to be a smartass or a know-it-all or anything like that. but...

i really doubt that larry is taking care of philip baker hall by having him on an episode of CYE. quite the contrary, it is probably more a matter of hall doing david a favor by appearing on the show, since hall is one of the best and most prolific character actors in hollywood. a spot on CYE is hardly a meal ticket for this guy.

unless you were talking about all the smaller characters who have been on seinfeld and later appeared on CYE, in which case, yes, it's a really nice gesture by dave to give them bit parts like that Smile

blast! i just re-read your post, J. Chiles, and the one above it, and it now seems rather obvious that you were talking about all the non-recurring seinfeld characters, and not necessarily PBH in particular.

and even if you were, what's the difference anyway? like i said, i have a problem Smile

appologies in any event.
