I've often wondered who the bass player on the title/credit music is, I assume it's a real bass and not a sample. Also can anyone tell me what the music is which adds to the surreal Kramer/Newman sausage-making scene in 'The Blood'?

The Bassist's name is unknown to me.

The sausage song is Maniana by Jackie Davis

Hi there,
Does anyone remember the songs used during montages for the final clip show? I'm trying to figure out the big band sounding song that plays during the montage where all the bizarro outfits are shown.

Yeah the bassist in my band plays the theme before any show we play, it sounds pretty cool when you hear someone actually play it.

If you've got one of those electronic keyboards that can play hundreds of instruments, including a slap bass, you too can play the whole song. I think it's in E Major.

Its not a real bass. It is in fact an electronic keyboard. This was shown in one of the 'behind the scenes making shows".
Hope this helps

I think I understand this...

The bass is real, the playing is not. Now, the keyboard player is real, but the bass is sampled. Now the keyboard, which is real, plays sounds that, while they are real, they are not real in sense that they were not really played by the real bass player on the real theme song which was sampled...
