Syndicated showing of Seinfeld in my area just completed the cycle-clip shows and The Finale 1&2 and we're back to the 1st episode. The Puerto Rican Day was not shown. Interesting to see in The 1st show, George advises Jerry to "do the opposite".

whats cool too is that Jerry and George have a discussion about shirt's buttons at the beginning of the first epidode..and have the same discussion at the end of the last episode Smile

Sometimes they skip that one and sometimes they don't. Not sure why but I've heard people say it's because of Kramer setting the Puerto Rican flag on fire.

Maroon Golf is a comic friend of Jerrys in real life. He's in 'Comedian'.

He can also be seen coming out of the theatre with Jerry after seeing Firestorm (in the episode where george gets enganged).

BOB: Who! Who is burning the flag?!

KRAMER: Oh, no.

BOB: Him?!

CEDRIC: That's not very nice.

KRAMER: It was an accident.

BOB: Do you know what day this is? Because I know what day this is, they know what day this is, so I was wondering if you know what day this is!

CEDRIC: Because it's Puerto Rican day.

I think Maroon Golf is Mario Joyner, former host of the old MTV Standup show that was on for a few years in the early 90's.

Yep, it's Mario. He also opened for Jerry during some of his tour stops this year.

heh, when I went to see Jerry in Toronto, Mario was on for like 15 or so minutes before him, and I knew he looked and sounded so familiar, but I just couldn't remember why. I didn't remember what they said his name was at the time, so I couldn't do a search up on him. Then as I was watching "the engagement" a few days after the show, I see Mario come out of the theatre with Jerry (yes it's the same guy from the maroon golf) and if finally hit me who it was.
