I feel that Jerry Seinfeld let his supporters down by not putting the soup nazi episode on the dvd collection. I feel that the promotion of this dvd collection was misleading. That is in most peoples opinion the absolutely best episode and it was left out intentionally. How sad! I thought Jerry cared about his fans. IF THE EPISODE IS ON THE DVD AND I PASSED IT UP SOMEHOW, PLEASE LET ME KNOW VIA EMAIL.

They didn't even put Rachel or Joey on the cover. Jimmy's never buying anything from this talk show ever again!!!!

Angie, it sounds like you must be as well-informed and as much of a fan as Jimmy!

That guy did over 170 episodes of the Jerry Seinfeld Show. The DVD contains what like 40?

There's serious money to be made from the others episodes! How stupid can that talk show host be?

It was the best when that International Soup Kitchen Guy (let's be pc LOL) visited the show!

I'm pissed off because they don't have the episode where Ginger seduces Gilligan and the Skipper hits Gilligan on the head with his hat. Then, the professor makes a radio oit of a coconut, even though he still can't fix a hole in the damn boat.

Not even I can defend this. I've been sitting here for a while trying to think of something positive to say...but i'm freezing. Maybe i'm losing it. Then again, maybe i'm not.
Maybe it's just that the first post is not acceptable. But of course, i don't want to lose my reputation as the nicest person on this site so...sorry, i got nothing.

On a slight tangent, let me say that it's astonishing that this one character, who only really appeared in one episode plus the Finale, is, for some people, the best character in the entire series. All i ever hear about from casual fans is SOUP NAZI, SOUP NAZI. It was a great episode, but it certainly shouldn't be the best episode on the basis of this one character. I'm not saying that this is the reason why angie likes that episode so much, but if it is, then that's wrong. the reason it should be a personal favorite is because of the way Jerry, Elaine, George and Kramer react to this guy in their own little way. you can see the difference in their personalities based on the way they react to the Soup Nazi. It's their show, not the Soup Nazi's. And therefore they make the show funny, not the Soup Nazi. If not for the gang, then the Soup Nazi is really just a very mean guy. and that's not funny.

Of course it was left out intentionally, it belongs to Season 7 and when Season 7 comes out it will be there in all it's remastered glory.

It enrages me that some episodes are beloved simply for the buzz phrases they introduce. "No soup for you!" What's so damn funny about that?!? The Soup Nazi and the Yada Yada are the two most overrated episodes, personally I don't get the big deal about "Master of your Domain". Seems to me, if one is master of one's domain, he would be free to do what he pleases with his domain, i.e. gratify himself. Yet the Contest was to refrain from gratifying oneself. Seems to me, abstaining from masterbation would mean they were trying to refrain from being "masters of their domain". But that's not why you called...

Were you watching Seinfeld when the Soup Nazi first aired? It was ten times more overrated than it is now.

But people do the same thing with Kramer's character. Kramer's a great character and Michael Richard's was amazing playing him, but his stupid little off-the-cuff verbal noises, which everyone makes such a fuss over, are extremely overrated. Never thought those were funny. Anyway, blah, blah...

i think what he might have meant to say was that although kramer's little noises are funny, they shouldn't be his "hook". that sort of thing is for the casual fan. but to the real fan, kramer's is much more than a guy who makes funny noises and funny entrances. or at least that's what i'm trying to say.
Again the Soup Nazi was a great episode, but not BECAUSE of the soup nazi.

Jimmy, you know who you remind me of? The fat comic bookstore owner in The Simpsons. He keeps complaining and whining about every little things, but inside he's the BIGGEST FAN EVER! I'm sure you just giving you some attitude, and if it's that, then i totally don't see the point of doing this on the internet
