Seinfeld Script Search:

Not so brilliant

I used to watch and admire Seinfeld, until we saw the episodes of attacking India's prestige.
U may comment like "India still has Plague" (like America still has Malaria) and "Dont go to Toilets in India". These stupid comments are negligible(though they hurt our nation's self respect). But U HAVE NO RIGHT TO COMMENT ABOUT GANDHI, THE FATHER OF OUR NATION. U need not know anything abt his high principles and pure life to write scripts , but remember that he is our prestigious leader. And think before writing such ugly lines.

Ah shut up! It's a God damn comedy show, so take a valium. The characters that were saying India still had the plague were Indian and it was done to show how snobby and ignorant they are because they have money. George once made fun of Chamberlain, but I don't hear Brits whining about it. They made fun of their own former leaders to (Nixon, Kennedy and a few others too) but I don't see any Americans crying. Anybody who knows anything about hystory realises what a great man Ghandi was, that's what makes the joke about the lady having an affair with him ironic and funny. Lighten up, will you.

Besides Ghandi is portrayed in a very flattering light - given his compassion and willingness to overlook a football-sized goiter, and all...

Hey anamika - if you quit watching Seinfeld then why are you posting here? - Still a big fan huh? Maybe you should stay off this Blog- Lots of comedy involves making fun of something - you have to be able to laugh at yourself - By the way - are you posting from India ? Do they have the Internet there?
