....and I figured since you guy's are fans of the show you want to know when a certain historical show was on.

You do not have to be mean or sarcastic about it.

sorry, cosmo. I was being sarcastic, but i didn't want to be mean. but just for next time, it's not necessary to tell us about when a seinfeld episode is on. first of all, i don't know what time zone you're in, so unless you're on the east coast, i don't now what you mean by "right now." secondly, i already have the entire series on tape and the first two seasons on DVD. so i already can get my seinfeld fix, not to mention the countless episodes tv everyday. I guess in retrospect, maybe i was a little harsh...but then again, lighten up, it's all in good fun. You should have comeback with something like:

"If i don't tell you, it will kill you, won't it? You have to know. You must know!"

that way, nobody gets hurt.
You know, i'm not really an ass, no matter what Bookman says.

I disagree. He didn't have to be mean (I don't even think he was)....But he HAD to be sarcastic.

NO!NO!NO!...don't say you're sorry! just comeback with a good line, that's all! like:

"You know, people think i'm smart, but i'm not smart."

or:

"Hey, i got enough problems coming up with some load of crap for these Himalayan walking shoes."

or:

"PLEASE!PLEASE!...I TAKE IT ALL BACK, EVERY WORD!....I LOVE YOU!....I LOVE YOU!"

Well I for one think the contest is vastly overrated. The only part I can rememeber is Kramer slapping his money down on the table. Give me almost any other episode and I can name plenty more than one thing that I can remember. I think it was just that it was about masturbation that this episode is so great, it's kind of a, stay away, topic.

Bottom line, I don't care when it's on, and I don't think too many people on this board care either.

just because it's popular among casual fans, doesn't mean that it's not a good episode. I personally don't appreciate when something i like gets too popular among the rest of the population, but just think of how unbelievably funny it was the first time you saw it.

"The woman on the bus has nothing on, nothing on, nothing on."

"I can't sleep, I can't leave the house, and I'm here, I'm climbin' the walls. Meanwhile, I'm dating a virgin, I'm in this contest - something's gotta give!"

I like "The Contest," and I probably like it as much as I ever did. It would make my top 30. But in the future, CosmoKramer, if you feel impelled to notify us of the airing of an episode, you might try advance notice.
