As a fervent Seinfeld fan, I often wonder what shows others of my ilk love or hate.

The shows I rate highest:

Larry Sanders
Roseanne
Cheers
Newhart
The Simpsons (pre 1999)
The Beverly Hillbillies
Married With Children
The Munsters

Popular Shows I Can't Stand:

Friends
Third Rock From The Sun
M*A*S*H
Soap
Will & Grace
Taxi

Shows I Sometimes Enjoy:

Phil Silvers
The Golden Girls
The Cosby Show
Ellen
King of the Hill
Futurama
Frasier

Do these selections differ wildly from your tastes?

ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, BABY!!!
[Scrubs] of course

...by the by, Roseanne and Beverly Hillbillies are not exactly intellectually stimulating shows.

The best shows on tv right now are by far Arrested Development and King of the Hill. other good shows still on are King of Queens and Yes Dear. Historically speaking my all time top 5 shows not named Seinfeld are... 1) The Wonder Years 2)Dick Van Dyke Show 3)Curb Your Enthusiasm 4)Simpsons 5)Night Stand with Dick Dietrick.

I stopped reading when I saw the Beverly Hillbillies. As a small child I would start yelling profane things at the televison when it would come on.

aw the Beverly Hillbillies "as a small child?" Good grief. I was in high school when that show came on. Suddenly, I'm an old man, tryin' to send back soup at a deli.

What's the point? When you like them, they don't like you and when they like you, you don't like them!
