Does anyone have any ideas on when the show went into overdrive of funny?

Some examples of this for me are:

In "The Voice" when Jerry is deciding between 'The Voice' and his girlfriend sitting on the bench on the pier.

In "The Understudy" when Frank Costanza is telling the Korean ladies in the nail salon he is outraged that they are making fun of him in Korean, which he understands, then Kim in the other room recognizes his voice.

When George goes to see his Mom in "The Contest" and his cousin 'Shelley' is talking to him and George is getting all worked up because of the ladies in the next bed with the curtain up with the back lighting of the ladies doing the sponge bath.

Overdrive of funny in comedy is very rare. There is no such thing today on TV.

Elaine telling Frank she could drop him like
a bag of dirt...and the ensuing attack.

So in other words, this is another thread about what our favorite seinfeld moments are, right? when you've been around the block a few times, you can pick up the scent.

nevertheless, estelle finding the condom in their bed and george getting grounded.

Not favorite parts, overdrive of comedy ...

The difference is when Seinfeld goes so far beyond all other sitcoms that it's super unique.

I think the parts you mention are good, maybe your some of your favorites ...

however I'm not sure if they fit the overdrive of comedy.

Maybe we can have a scale for this of overdrive, super-overdrive, and hyper-overdive.

Maybe I'm talking hyper-overdrive.

What she fails to realize is you are our fearless leader!

um, no I am not a liar like jimmy would have you believe and i am not another person on this board either. That is the only reason I said what I said to him because he continues to accuse me of being a troll. After this post, he will say, ok choate, or something like that. I just want to be part of this forum, I am not trying to be someone I am not. I swear to "god" or whoever you all worship, possibly Jerry Seinfeld, that I am julie, and that's it. So go ahead jimmy, and by the way, why are there so many jimmys? I see at least two and I dont make remarks about that, keep being mean to me if it makes you feel better, but I just would like it if I could post here w/o being called a troll.

You mean you've never tasted Gonorrhea? Wow, you're so pious... I really respect that. You know, when you die you're gonna get some special attention.

The last time I was at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas if you could pay your restaurant check they'd either make you was dishes ... or see the Carrot Top show.

If you got caught counting cards you had to sit in the front row.
