The guy worked the counter at Pizano's where George had been buying Steinbrenner luncheon calzones. George was afraid to return there after the worker thought he had caught George filching money from his tip jar, though George was actually trying to put his tip in a second time, fearing that the guy had not noticed his generosity. Kramer later went there in George's stead to buy the calzones after Newman bailed on his committment to do so, having not tended to his postal duties that day due to rain. Kramer had the guy warm his shirt in the oven (which he burned) and then Kramer tried to pay the guy for the calzones in pennies, which the worker refused.

My apologies. This character is is never mentioned by name. A violation of the criteria for inclusion. However, he does appear on-screen, has a speaking role, and is listed in the credits as "Counter Guy".

Allow me to help you all. Since I was the "Calzone King"(My name was Mario and it was spoken at the end of the first scene with Costanza "off stage", in Italian, by the stage manager Randy. He says "Mario, vieni qui"(which means "come here"). Also I thought you'd like to know that "The Soup Nazi" Larry Thomas and I have been friends for years ....before we both did the show. In addition, I attended Boston University's school of Fine Arts program for my freshman year and Jason Alexander was a junior at the time and we knew each other then.

I thought the name was mentioned at some time. Great character and great acting job, Mr. Allen.

Oh Bookman, you're not gonna bring me down off this high. I've been partying all night. We watched the sun rise at Liza's.

Boy, Jimmy'll tell ya', knowing you two is like going out in the jungle. Jimmy never knows what he's going to find next, and he's real scared.
