I am very thankful for all the features on the 1&2 box, so don't get me wrong. However, I am very concerned that they don't mention any features on the 3rd season box. This makes me fearful of what might happen on future releases (season 4, 5, etc.). Are they going to give us a bunch of stuff on 1&2, and that will be all the extra features we are ever going to get?

When Season 4 is released, what version of "The Handicap Spot" will be released? The version with Jerry Stiller playing George's dad or the version with John Randolph playing that role? I hope it's both! I prefer Jerry Stiller, but I hope the other one is included for historical preservation because it was the original episode as it aired on NBC.

goodboy The R1 edition has subtitles in Spanish, Portuguese, French and English and is dubbed in Spanish and French, I don't expect the R2 edition to be different except for PAL.

Jose

You mention the R2 version - have you (or anyone else) got any hard information about the release of this version? Or any soft information? A rumour? Some kind of pure speculation?

I'll take anything I can get on this...

check out the official site, it has got every detail about the box sets. Theres extra features on both sets. There two version of one episode (cant remember which one), one is the original and one is the syndicated version. I think in the episode they changed sumthin bout Newman in the syndicated version os there including both versions. I think youll find the same thing with the handicap spot, which is great. But the only let down is that they dont have commentry on all eps, just a few. Oh well its still goin to be great.

I'm just speculating, R1 and R4 are confirmed, Columbia/Sony said they wanted to do a worldwide release so I expect R2 to be available at the same time.

Scandinavian online cd/dvd shop cdon.com has both DVD sets listed with a release date of 24/11 for season 1&2.

And it's cheap as well. Only 369 danish kroner - about 50 euros.
