problem: HQ eps ends after downloading 99%

Hi there,

For anyone who might be downloading HQ eps, there seems to be a problem with the links.

The season brackets after reaching 99% are interrupted leaving a shown incomplete.

Is there anything that could be done?

I see more and more people complaining about that inconvenience, thinking that this is due to a lack of peers but in fact it itsn't unfortunately the case.It is a technical problem.Looking forward to Stan's reply or anyone who is in charge of the website.

Greetings from Montreal,

M.

Hi.

No i dont think this is a technical problem.....it is a great way for the seeder stopping people deserting a torrent as soon as they reach 100%.Think about it, while you`re stuck on 99.9% you will leave your window open even though your actual download has stalled.Eventually the seeder will let you have the last 0.01% that you require.

Dear nobody,

how do you do?

I personally leave my windows as long as I can but as a person working on the road 7 days a week I have to unplug my computer at some point if I have to catch a plane the next day.

I personally leave my windows for a full night of sleep after my download is completed but in the morning, and I sincerely apologize for that inconvenience,I've got to disconnect my internet. This is really the best I can do my friend and I am sure it is the case of others. This is a reality. So is there any other way I can help??You tell me......

greetings,

M.

Bottom line, everyone should upload at least as much as they download. Thats the only way BT works.

Hello John

Well I can understand that and thank you for the helpfull info, cause I am fairly new to the torrent world. All I can say is that I will leave it as long as I possibly can.But I actually do leave it for a good six to twleve hours after downloading completes. What is the minimum you'd say is proper?I am all honest and I don't want in any way to slow down anyone. All the good will is there.....

I believe that soon I'll have to purchase a computer only for downloading shows! Wink

cheers,

Marc

Hi Marc.

My post was not directed at you personally.......honestly.Its as John has said "Bottom line, everyone should upload at least as much as they download. Thats the only way BT works."Having used different versions of the official Bit Torrent programme for downloading i was dissatisfied as i had no way to know how much i had reshared. Not sure if the new official version helps in this way but i now use `Shadows` bit torrent as this programme tells me exactly what my upload download ratio is.Believe me the results used to come as a shock when i looked at any current torrents the next morning. Some i would be well in credit with and others well in debit. As i say the guesswork has gone now i know exactly what my position is for each and every download i do.

Hi Marc.

Please don`t feel my comments were directed at you........they were not.

I am not familiar with the latest version of the official bit torrent program but the version i was using earlier this year left the user with no indication as to what their share ratio was i.e. had the user uploaded more or less than they had downloaded. For that reason i now use `Shadows` bit torrent program as i am left in no doubt as to my ratio of upload/download for every torrent i use.

It sometimes happens that I am uploading much more than I do receive, I do not have a problem with that, as one person helps another and so on, but when do I get my last 2% I have been at this for over two days, I have sent out over 2000MB's and can only get back so far 975MB, was stuck on 91% for over 13 hrs, then I got 7% more, now again stuck at 98%, I will be patient and will leave my torrent open, I just hope that I get repaid in kind......, and this is by NO MEANS A CRITISISM, I am grateful for the opportunity to get and give......Thanks

Hi.I also have been stuck lately but on 98%, it was at 91% but I got 7% a few hrs ago, now I am stuck again at 98%......I realize that its a fair trade type of deal you get the downloads, and in turn you should upload them out, NOT A PROBLEM.....But I have given out over 2000MB's in the last two days and have only gotten back 965, I am getting much less than I receive.....I understand in order to get you must also give out, thats not a problem, I am just wondering when do I get my last 2%.....I leave my torrent open, I can see the files going out,, but nothing coming in.....Hope that changes soon, as I feel a little left out......And again I DO NOT OFFER THIS AS A COMPLAINT, AS I AM VERY HAPPY TO BE A PART OF THIS GREAT GROUP...Just wondering........Ed

I agree that everyone should upload as much as they can, but it is a bit unfair to stop someone like me from getting the last .1% of a download, as I leave all my downloads open anyway. It does annoy me when I leave one open and see people closing theres down as soon as they get to 100%, I might start taking a note of there ip's and closing mine down when these people are trying to get them from me.

Hello nobody,

Don't sweat it.I never took it personally. As I said I am fairly new to the torrents and I really appreciated your feedback about it.Apologies for the late reply,as I mention I am continuously working on the road so it might
take me a few days before I reply.I am now leaving my windows open for as long as possible.So....no misunderstanding.Again and I'll never say it enough, many thanks to everyone making this possible in the most legit way in respect to authors and comedians of Seinfeld.

greetings,

Marc
