Well, the DVDs aren't even for sale yet, so you can't really buy any episodes at this point.

Cartwright - I would recommend you just go to the "Seinfeld Videos" section of this site and get the episode there.

Puch Envy - The Chinese Restaurant is one of the greatest episodes IMHO. It is one of the best examples of a show being about "nothing" because waiting forever in a restaurant is an experience we've all been through. Plus, it's probably one of the first sitcom episodes ever to not have a scene change the entire episode

The Chinese Restaurant was awesome! Jimmy always hoped that they'd do another episode later on, where they were at that same restaurant another day, and as soon as they were finished eating, they'd be "rushed out" as many of us also have.

"You through? Here your bill...You go home now!"

As for no scene changes, I've only seen a few of the best sitcoms pull it off, but it had been done perviously

weak, the only funny part of that episode is CARTWRIGHT!
that episode is beat. you never see anything but the restaurant. i feel it is the worst episode for "REwatchability"

I have to agree with pouch envy, this is one of the worst episodes. The idea was funny, but is should have been part of a bigger episode with some other intertwined plots.

Well, I'm sure you're both probably just too young to have experienced everything that these shows poke fun at... you'll understand more of the obscure-style humor in them someday. Very Happy

The Chinese Restaurant is my favorite episode and I always love to watch it over and over again. I thought the dialogue was perfect and personified the essence of the show.

Or...there's an ep of "Friends" where they're waiting in an Italian restaurant, and all these people get in before them. So, at one point, they send Rachel to slip the Maitre d' $20, only to lose it when he turns the page of his reservation list. At one point, Joey dares Phoebe to go sing a horrible song at someone's table and grab a handful of spaggetti...she chickens out. Later, the Maire d' calls out "Russel" when a phone call comes in for Ross, and when he finds out it was for him, he tells Chandler, in an incredibly rivoting demonstration of monotone method-acting "Apparently, I'm Russell", so Chandler says "But you're not Russell", and Ross screams back "I know I'm not Russell"...Finally, they all leave, and just when they're out the door, the Maitre d' yells out "Ross...6"....Brilliant episode!!!

YOU'RE SERIOUS??, biters!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, the chinese restaurant is one of the worst because it has no rewatchbility like pouch said, that's the only reason.
