I would bet that a lot of Americans take it for granted that a lot of shows, movies, books, etc...are based in their towns. I guess if you live in New York or L.A. or Hollywood, etc., it's no big deal to see a show that's set in your city. But, for a lot of people in the rest of the world, it's probably a thrill to even hear your hometown's name come up on TV. I remember grinning when Todd Gack told Jerry he was going to Montreal and bringing back Cuban cigars. So, i was curious o see how many cities or even countries were mentioned on the show. Here's a few:
Montreal
Tuskany (sp?)
Little Rock
El paso
Porugal (Portugese waitress...)
Puerto Rico.
Romania (The acrobat)
I'm sure there are many more.

Kramer and Newman were traveling through Ohio when they ended up spotting and chasing Jerry's car with his crazed mechanic.

Weren't they?

People like Lippman think Elaine is from Baltimore, but she's actually from Towson.

George: I would have marched on Selma if it was on Long Island.

Jerry: So you would have marched on Great Neck.

Also, the mall where they bought the Drake's TV was in Lynbrook, Long Island.

And i can't believe nobody's mentioned INDIA yet! You know, maybe this might become a cool thing, wearing turbans. could be the next fashion craze. express your devotion to Guru Granth in Diesel.

Jerry got a $200 box of cigars from Todd Gack that said 'Producto de Peru'.

"Peru?? I could have bought a house in Peru for $200."

Funny, 'cause I'm from Peru.
