hello,
you mentioned that seinfeld was not available on dvd, but there is a link over to the left on your web page that says 'seinfeld dvd' & when you click on it, you can order all nine series on 24 dvds for $250ish dollars (with postage).
do you know anything about this?
any info would be great.

I agree... if you say they're such a scam, why do you have the link on your site?

and are they a scam just because they're not official (I'm assuming we all know they're bootlegs cos the official ones don't exist...) or because they don't give you what's advertised (all the episodes on 24 dvds in order on dvd in packaging shown)?

can anyone enlighten me here?

has anyone actually been 'bagging off' the rippers?

i know that i give a lot of crap to people who CONSTANTLY ask if the dvds they've found are the genuine article, and i only give them said crap because their messages fill up this board with questions that are answered elsewhere on the blog (see: every other post with the term "DVD" in the message header, the DVD message forum, and the Seinfeld On DVD link in the menu bar).

does anyone really give a damn about people ripping it off the net and selling it? personally i think that if you're willing to fork over $240.00 for bootlegs then you may as well wait for the real thing. i know i am. i have every episode saved on my computer *and* on dvd-rs, but the second that first volume hits stores (hopefully) this christmas, i'll be on it like a dirty shirt.

er, make that the Seinfeld DVD link. the one on the left, in white font, where stan says this:

"People always ask me, is Seinfeld available on DVD? The answer is 'not yet'. Hopefully it will be soon. So I have decided to start a mailing list. As soon as Seinfeld officially becomes available on DVD I will send a message to everyone on the list."

Im sure stan has something to do with these Canadian websites, selling Seinfeld for $240-$250. Hmmmm, he has links on here for them all the time. If it was a scam, why would he advertise for them?

the ad on the right has nothing to do with stan...
if you read the top it says "ads by google" which basically mean google has found that this site contains the combination of SEINFELD and DVD more times on this site than any other and generates links accordingly...
unfortunatly its these rip offs!

but its worth it as this is deffo the best seinfeld site on the net!
good work stan

DeathBlow is correct. The ads that appear on the right are automatically generated by Google based on the content on the page - I don't control which ads get displayed. For for information about those ads, you can click the "Ads by Google" link at the top of the ad bar.
