Hey, Does anybody know the name of the opening comic on Jerry's 2004 tour? I couldn't really understand the announcer when he said it, and I can't find who he was. I'm assuming it works like a concert where the same opening act follows the main act around the country, so maybe this guy opened for him in more than just Dallas. Anyone know? All I know is that he was black and hilarious.

I heard that Mario Joyner opened for Jerry at some of his 2004 shows. Mario played Maroon Golf in The Puerto Rican Day episode.

Tom Papa opened for Jerry when I saw him in Pennsylvania earlier this year but he's not black. It probably was Mario Joyner.

Thanks very much, I was far enough away from the stage where I couldn't recognize him, but he's very very funny, if anyone gets a chance to see him, I'd do it.

I also remember Mario Joyner being the guy who came out of the movie theater with Jerry during the episode when George got engaged to Susan Smile

That is correct Bruce. He and Jerry saw Firestorm.

Jerry showed up in Independence, Kansas Thursday night (May 20th 2004). For those trying to follow his travel across the USA, I thought you would take interest in the information.

Wouldn't it be great if Kenny Banya opened for Jerry? He could give everybody the chance to hear his 15 minute Ovaltine bit....
