Kramer tries mousse in his hair. Jerry gets Elaine an opportunity to get the apartment right above him, before he realizes the possible implications. George tests the "man with a wedding band" theory of meeting women.

In this episode Elaine can't afford the $5,000 to put down on the apartment, where in real life Julia Louis-Dryfus come from a very wealthy family. Her father is a French Billionaire. Julia grew up in Washington DC and New York City between her mother and father who were divorced when she was one. She went to Northwestern in Chicago where she met husband Brad Hall who became the first and only husband-wife to combo to act on Saturday Night Live. She first worked on the ABC show "Fridays" with Micheal Richards who would obviously team up again on Seinfeld. She has 2 sons born in '92 and '97. |

In this episode The rocker that moves in above Jerry is never in any other episode, since Jerry said "they" play all the time, he either moved, got kicked out, or just quit the band since they never refer to him nor hear the music coming from above again.

I doubt he moved... Seinfeld is a show about nothing. Previous plots rarely carry over into future episodes. There are many inconsistencies like this. It's what makes Seinfeld so fun to watch. You don't have to deal with the silly corners and boring plots that other shows bog themselves down with. |

First episode I ever saw. Was on bussiness in Venice, CA area and a tout from Audiences Unlimited was trying to sign people up for the live studio audience. I hadn't even heard of the show, but went anyway. Instant fan. Tried to go again a year or so later but by then it was HARD to get tickets.
I almost never see this episode in repeats. |

JERRY: You have no idea what an idiot it. Elaine just gave me a chance to get out and I didn't take it. (Points to himself) This is an idiot.
GEORGE: Is that right? (Showing him up) I just threw away a lifetime of guilt-free sex and floor seats for ever sporting event in Madison Square Garden. So please, a little respect. For I am Costanza. Lord of the Idiots!

colby- it reminds me of the riff to "Hot Blooded" but it was probably just some muffled guitar work from a studio musicican to avoid the show paying royalties for copyrighted material. |

I love this episode! xDD It's so hilarious. I love when Manny says in Spanish 'it looks worse than it did before' about Kramer's moussed-up hair. Bahaha.
As a side note, Elaine's excited freakout is ridiculous. :3 |
