George picks up a bad habit from some visiting baseball officials. During the time of the New York City Marathon, Elaine has an out of country runner as her house guest. The runner had overslept and missed the big race at the last Olympics and Jerry obsesses with ensuring that it doesn't happen again. Kramer gets a hot tub from his friend Lomez and Elaine has writer's block.

NOTE: Viewer Ryan Huddleston notes this episode is where Kramer first mentions his friend Lomez. While Kyle Westphal seems to have missed this mention, he's noted that Kramer has also mentioned Lomez in the following episodes: "The Package", "The Fatigues", "The Slicer", "The Betrayal", "The Apology".

I've noticed in this episode that when Elaine knocks on her neighbours door (the mother of the bastard child) after her neighbour opens the door a stage hand corrects the placement of the door and the door seemingly moves by itself.

Episode 158 "The Voice" (Season 9): Kramer's Intern also mentions than Kramer is in a meeting with Lomez.

This is a great site but I was just reading through 'The Hot Tub' script and there is an obvious error. When George is explaining to Jerry how the visitors from Houston talk, he says"...that son of a bitch Boggs can sure hit (in reference to Wade Boggs)". The script uses the word Box instead of Boggs. It makes no sense. BTW, I was hoping to find a sound bite of that conversation. Anyone know where?

Someone took the time (Stan himself I think) to watch every episode and type out the scripts. There are going to be mistakes here and there. No big deal.

It's Bacteria "Frappe", not "Frat". A Frappe is a ice cream milk shake, blended, which would make more sense.

Elaine thinks to herself, " I trust Elaine , she is my friend," but she's not around to hear that said earlier in the episode.
